About Us

VetNova is a company founded by veterinarians and for veterinarians, with a single objective: to improve the Health and Welfare of Companion Animals and Horses. Dr. Lourdes Gomez and Dr. Eduardo de Santos co-founded VetNova Animal Health LLC in 2007.

VetNova announces the launch of its US affiliate, VetNova Animal Health LLC with a facility based in Olathe KS. VetNova began in Spain in 2007 and is now present in over 20 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and America.

We operate under four fundamental priorities: Innovation and Quality, Customer Service, Our People and Social Responsibility.

Our number one priority is the quality, efficacy and safety of our small animal and equine products. We believe that the best product is the one that, in addition to contributing to the improvement of the animal's health, can be administered easily, without causing added stress and without affecting the human-animal bond. This forces us to be in constant evolution, always listening to the client’s needs to develop the most innovative products and improve our product profile every year.

Our second priority is our clients, from veterinarians to distributor partners, to pet parents. And at the top of this chain, we value the job that veterinarians and their professional teams do every day for the health and wellbeing of our animals. It is always think “veterinarian-first” in our major decisions, from seeking their input for product development, to setting the right commercial policies to guarantee utmost respect for the critical role they play in the recommendation and use of our products.

Another great pillar of VetNova is the quality of our People. We are a diverse team (more than 75% of our staff are women, and we proudly employ minorities at risk of exclusion and people of all abilities), but above all, we are hardworking people who are passionate about doing things well and improving every day.

At VetNova we firmly believe that as a company, we have a responsibility to make this a better world. Our firm social commitment has led us, for years, to allocate a percentage of our sales to a growing number of nonprofits and contribute to financing the great work they do. Among them, global health and development organizations like UNICEF and Doctors Without Borders, and smaller regional or local initiatives like Spain’s Apadrina un Olivo. We are also aware of the impact that our decisions and actions, no matter how small, have on our surroundings and the environment. Our commitment to respecting and caring for the environment has led VetNova to establish sustainable work practices, such as reusing, reducing, and recycling materials or switching from conventional to low emission car fleets.

Also deeply rooted in our hearts is our commitment to animal welfare. Thus, we cooperate regularly with associations and shelters that rescue and provide great care for animals in difficult situations.

Dr. Gomez and Dr. de Santos took the best from their experiences in clinical practice and corporate to create a business to promote innovative products and exceptional service for veterinarians, their clients, and their patients.
