  • Glycolic acid as an Alpha-Hydroxy Acid (AHA) is a natural water-soluble acid derived from fruits and plants. AHAs have excellent exfoliant and keratolytic properties
  • and help to remove the top layers of dead skin cells. Glycolic acid exhibits a strong pH-dependent antibacterial activity by disrupting bacterial cell membranes. Glycolic acid is also a humectant.
  • Boric Acid is a weak acid with acidifying and astringent (drying) effect. It has also
  • been shown to be effective against Malassezia infections.
  • Ceramides provide a healthy protective epidermal barrier as they play a role in normal barrier function and dermis cell organization.
