From a farm in central Spain, Dr. de Santos attended Madrid’s Complutense Veterinary School. He received his MBA from Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. With multinational experience in the animal health industry, Dr. de Santos has served as head of South America’s Andean region, Mexico & Central America, UK & Ireland, and Japan as well as corporate head of International Marketing and Global Business Development before founding VetNova Animal Health.
Debra NIckelson DVM, MBA is founder of Trillium C, LLC a consulting firm. Dr. Nickelson has worked in mixed and companion animal practice. She has also performed a variety of work for several animal health companies in three different states, including technical services, marketing, product development, regulatory, sales, training, business development and consumer affairs. Currently Dr. Nickelson serves on the governing board of the American Veterinary Medical Association, representing the American Association of Industry Veterinarians.
Master in Applied Clinical Ethology from UAB, Postgraduate in Consumer Research from UOC, University Specialization in Digital, MBA. More than 8 years of experience in small animal practice, she is part of the company since 2015. Passionate about her dog and her work.
Carolyn has worked in the animal health industry for 25 years. She has performed a variety of work in the animal health industry including Executive Level Administration, Technical Services, Marketing, Finance, Educational Training, and Customer Service
Dr. Yara completed her veterinary degree at the University of Commercial Sciences in Nicaragua and specialized in Agribusiness Management at Universidad Agraria in Colombia. She has worked in mixed animal practice and collaborated with NPO across several countries in the Americas, providing veterinary care to communities.
Passionate about her family, her dog, and nature, Dr. Yara combines her love for animals with a strong commitment to improving animal welfare.
Dr. Mayra completed her Zoology degree at the University of Liverpool (England) and earned her Veterinary Medicine degree from La Salle University in Bogotá (Colombia). She has worked in the pharmaceutical industry and in public health, enhancing her knowledge of animal health.
Passionate about nature and integrative medicine, Dr. Mayra aims to contribute to the advancement of veterinary practices that promote holistic well-being and sustainability within communities.
